Looking for God

Inviting God into Your life

Dear God, I admit that I have messed things up in the past.  Please forgive me. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior.  Thank you for accepting me. Holy Spirit, teach me how to live.  I will follow Your lead.

Welcome to the Family of God!

If you have just made the decision to put your faith in Jesus Christ, here are some suggestions to help you grow in your walk with Him:

  1. Read the Bible every day. (2 Timothy 3:16) Use Pastor John's "Bible Reading Plan" as a guide, or just start reading through the New Testament (begin in Matthew).
  2. PRAY! (Philippians 4:6-7) You don't have to use special words or tone of voice, just talk to God the way you would talk to a friend. Tell Him what you need, how you're feeling, and what you're thinking. He loves to hear you!
  3. Get together with other believers as often as you can. (Hebrews 10:25) Worship at Northway every Sunday morning, and get involved with mid-week "Connections'' (see our web calendar for more information).

Email pastorjohn@mendingandsending.org if you have any questions about the Bible or faith in Christ. No matter what, praise God that your name is written in Jesus' Book of Life and that you can walk with Him forever!

God loves you and
wants to take care of you!
